Greetings ,  I am wishing you all while you are enjoying the later part of the summer with your families.  Thank you for your long-term support and attention to our community development. This year’s eKuruvi Steps 2023 - Value Addition commenced on June 25 , hundreds of Canadians and thousands worldwide joined us for the  Walk and full-filling the daily target of 10,000 steps. This year’s walk comes to an end with a grand walk on 8:30 AM, August 26 at Harvest Moon Park, 70 Old Finch Ave, Scarborough.

eKuruvi Steps which initiated in 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic is not only keeping the physical and mental health of the participants in a good frame, but also conducting awareness projects in our homeland every year.

Last year we trained the students towards achieving sustainability and conducted workshops for the farmers island wide to boost their knowledge about sustainability.

This year we are  focusing on the concept of value addition. For that purpose we are involved in various awareness activities in several  parts of our homeland in need. This project is  step by step doing classes, training , improving the knowledge of the entrepreneurs and small business owners. We are primarily focusing on enhancing the connections and identifying possible additional markets for them.

On top of these on August 06, 2023 we organized a successful  procession named - eKuruvi Steps 2023 - Value Addition in Jaffna City. This walk not only attracted a number of participants but also created a broader  awareness and praised about  Value Addition by various Srilankan Tamil media. They gave a big importance for our walk and provided a grand coverage. For the Visuals
