STRANGE
CRITERION MEASURE AND FUNNY REASON!
- R.P.Rajanayahem -
Ashokamitran
has written a short, straight and crisp riposte on Outlook polemics. As
a matter of fact he never writes rejoinder to anybody and to any magazine.
It's a scoop to pathivukal, he gives his rejoinder as a letter written
to R.P.Rajanayahem. Ashokamitran's letter focusses entirely on his Outlook
Interview only.It is very funny to question why he forgot to mention Bathri
and Venkatesh in his letter. This has become a global phenomenon, intellectuals
always try to outsmart others with their criterion measures and reasons.
Why don't they think practically? Ashokamitran has given his honest explanation
properly. I can find no logic, should one write such repetitve, monotonous
cock and bull stories as a rejoinder to Ashokamitran's letter.
Now I can understand why Su.Raa avoids responding any criticism. In fact Su.Raa is being inflicted with vehement, cruel attacks for the past fifty years. He refused to respond fifty criticisms on "JJ sila kurippukal". Both Su.Raa and Ashokamitran have no faith in writing a chain of rejoinders. They have foreseen the consequences and they know it will be a herculian task to convince and satisfy the typical intellectuals, stuffed with strange criterion measures and funny reasons.
let me quote from Shakespeare.
King Lear : Let us
take our supper in the morning !
Clown: And I will
go to bed in the noon !!
This is the spectacular,impressive
and stunning response !!!
