It was predicted that with the various T.V Channels and, more so, the E-magazines, books and the printing media would lose their charm and hold. But, the steadily increasing crowd at the yearly book-fair proved it all a false alarm. At the same time, leave alone the illiterate, a large section of literate and discerning readers, till date, have no access to reading books of their choice and updating their knowledge of the changing trends in literary concepts and styles. They are the 'visually handicapped.'  With 'special schools' for them they acquire their academic qualification  with the help of scribes, tape-recorders and Braille books etc. But, they have very little means by which they can feed their appetite for literary works.....enter
