Film – Sea Monsters: A Prehistoric
Adventure
Two screenings per day at 12:30 pm,

The National Geographic presents the Toronto premiere of
Sea Monsters. Journey 80 million years back in time
when dinosaurs roamed the land and an astonishing assortment
of ferocious creatures ruled the sea. Interweaving
ground-breaking fossil finds with cutting-edge computer
generated recreations. Original music by Peter Gabriel and
narrated by Liev Schreiber. 40 minutes.

Sunday February 14
11 am, 1:30 pm, 3:30 pm
ROM Curator Emeritus of Palaeobiology,
Chris McGowan, brings his vibrant personality and infectious
love of Ichthyosaurs, giant marine reptiles that thrived
during the Mesozoic era, to a talk that is sure to instill
wonder in all.
Monday February 15
11:30 am, 1:30 pm, 3:30 pm
Jacob Berkowitz, author of the phenomenally successful book,
Jurassic Poop, brings his Poopcase to the ROM and
invites visitors to help him solve the coprolite caper.
The Poopcase is a converted
briefcase that holds the most amazing treasures of the past —
coprolites, or fossil poop. This 20-minute tour-de-fossil
feces is educational and fun. Full of surprises, and the
occasional fart joke, there's no better way to bring the past
to life!
Monster Fun in the Galleries
Saturday,

Mesozoic Meander Tour
Facilitators take visitors on a guided tour through
the ROM’s Age of Dinosaurs and Age of Mammals Galleries
highlighting the Mesozoic Era.
A touch table with fossils, artifacts and specimen’s will keep
visitor’s engaged before each tour.
Dino Dig
See what it’s like to be a real palaeontologist by
uncovering the bones of a Parksosaurus, Ankylosaur,
Albertosaurus and many more.
Dinosaur Photo Fun with Sony
Take a family photo using a SONY
Digital SLR camera, including a dress up station with dinosaur
costumes and a photo printing and framing station. Presented
in cooperation with Sony of Canada Ltd.
Dino Crafts
Don’t miss the craft area where you can make dinosaur
crafts and take your creations home.
Gordo & Gertie
Be on the lookout for ROM mascots Gordo and Gertie – they may
be big, but they have a way of sneaking up on you!
